Mergers... Looking Back, Looking Ahead
Almost exactly a year ago, in the March 19, 2007 issue of Time, I wrote a brief piece (below) musing about the possibility of a 2008 Microsoft-Yahoo deal. The story referenced the Sirius-XM merger, which is surprisingly still in process a year later. It'll be interesting to see whether the Microsoft-Yahoo deal takes as long, if the companies agree to move forward in the coming months.
